On the way to Winton we stopped over at the Age of The Dinosaurs in Corfield at the jump ups. It was hellish hot, but we did the tour of the laboratory as well as the digs. Very awesome to see these fossils dating back an impossible number of years to imagine. Then on to Winton and stayed in a small area behind the Gregory hotel which is a real retro place. They had a bit of live music in the beer garden so we stayed and enjoyed that. Quick wander around town the next day to see a stage coach doing a town tour. Picked up a few things at the Spar and then hit the road to Cloncurry.
