Kununurra

Arrived in Kununurra for four days and booked into a nice camp site with a lovely pool alongside the lake. It’s time to sort out the last modifications to the van and stock up with fuel etc before driving on to the Gibb River Road. We visited the Aboriginal Arts Centre where they have some of the best Aboriginal paintings that we have ever seen.I fitted a screen to shade the area of the caravan wall that is closest to the fridge and reduce the power used by the fridge. We also visited the Hoochery(Rum Distillery), the Sandalwood factory where they produce export Sandalwood oils and all sorts of perfumes and creams. Also had a little play at the Ivanhoe Crossing where my drone crashed last time. Well guess what, it went completely haywire in exact the same location. Back in an envelope and back to Sydney for repairs. Hope to pick it up in Broome. That evening we had our mate Steve Case playing music at the pool side. Same bloke from Lake Argyle doing the rounds. Check out the pics for the very old Boab Tree.
