After packing up we headed to the homestead one last time for tea and scones. They also do some serious Mangoe and coffee Frappe. ET and Gabby had Mangoes and Peter had a Coffee while I stuck with good old earl Grey.We are leaving this little green paradise and heading back onto the dusty roads. The Gibb going west wasn’t too bad. There were some rocky sections with corrugations and lots of dry creeks as well as a few that were flowing. It wasn’t a vary long drive, in fact it was only 70km to the turn off and then a further 59 to the Drysdale station. The 59 to Drysdale on the Kalumburu Road took us twice as long as the previous 70 as the road was horrible. Set up camp and then went to the bar for a drink and a catch up. Made a fire and had a braai/barbie.
