Two nights at Stingray Point
Packed up our gear and headed to the south west coast from Darwin and stayed at the free camp at Stingray Point. Found a great spot and placed our van for great views over the ocean. Later that afternoon a heap of people from Darwin and other places started arriving and they simply do not understand personal space. Two bus converted campers pulled up fairly close to the front of our van which was bearable but the next day more of their bogan party arrived and camped behind our van. They could have attached their ropes to our van. Far out………Felt like we were in a packed caravan park. No loud sex then…..
Having said all of that, we had a lovely sunset the first night at Stingray Point and some of our very close neighbours had left over fireworks from cracker night so they were happy to give us a show. On the second night we went into Dundee for the sunset and spent the night at the pub as they had live music. Also had dinner there. Drove the rough roads back to camp in the dark. Had a few Roo scares but we were going real slow. Overall we had a great time walking around the beaches and exploring the town of Dundee.
