We booked into a camp site on the North side of the river. Turned out to be really central for what we wanted to do. After setting up we drove into town and walked around the buildings to find all the street art. After that we drove up to the lookout and then onward to the Eimeo Pub which is above a lovely beach. Good spot for whale watching.
On the second day we had lunch at the marina and just mooched around. Drove onto the breakwater which is 1.5km long to view the islands and marina from a different perspective. Then on to the water tower to get some pics of the art on its sides. Back to camp for a swim.
