Back on the bumpy roads, heading to the gem fields. We decided we would make our way to Rubyvale and spend two nights there. Arrived in the afternoon and the weather was looking rather poor. Set up camp and had a late lunch. It started raining so all we did was go for a drive and orientate ourselves. Visited a couple of Saphire sales places, booked the Saphire mine tour for the next day and then off to the pub in the evening for a beer. The pub is built in log style with a fair amount of character. They so that photo’s of people not welcome as people come there to hide.🥸
