The roads once more took us through some of the suburbs of Adelaide. We arrived early and managed to get into the park, however they had allocated us a terribly odd spot which would have been difficult to level the van on. So with a bit of prodding from Elaine they gave us a tour of other options and we settled on a spot just above the creek with enough sunlight to run the solar panels and charge the batteries.
From the camp site we had access to some great walks which Elaine took full advantage of. I spent most part of a day rewiring and replacing my electronic brake controller for the van. We went into Adelaide central a few times and did some shopping and sight seeing which was great. We both enjoy Adelaide and the markets were great……There are hundreds of historic buildings that we simply did not get to. Will have to do more touristing when we come back for the Tour Down Under one day.
