We set up camp in the West Beach big four which is close to the airport to make it easy for when we place the van and car into storage. The camp site here is enormous and nicely situated on the edge of the beach. It is also a short distance to Glenelg and to Henley beach both of which we really like. Mind you the beach right out front is pretty good as well. We set up camp on a spot that was about 50m from the beach and very convenient.
In the evening we caught up with a good friend Jamshed Ahmed who we haven’t seen for some time. We had a lovely meal together and many laughs. What a great evening. Thanks again Jam.
We really enjoyed some walks on the beach, spent some time in the sun reading and a short swim in the cold waters. Spent a couple of evenings in and around Glenelg as well as a morning wandering around Harbour Town doing a little shopping at the clearance stores.
Tomorrow we put the vehicles in storage and fly out to the Gold Coast to attend Samantha’s wedding. It will be nice to catch up with the young ones, Tony and Amanda as well as Colin and Debbie.
After the wedding we fly to Sydney to spend a week with our gorgeous Caitlin who we miss a lot.. Then back to Adelaide to continue our journey West and North to the warm weather.
