We have been home for a month but I wanted to finish off my diary so I will publish the last days of our trip asap.
After Brekkie in Cobar we headed to Dubbo. On the way we made a booking in the caravan park. First stop was Nyngan, home of the Big Bogan. There he is in his wife beater, rugby shorts and thongs. We have been here a number of times before and because it has various memories for us it is always a must stop quick stop. We have camped on the river here before which was very nice. Today it is extremely hot. All shops are closed as it is Sunday so after a brief stop we headed to Trangie where we stopped for a picnic lunch on the river bank. Finally on to Dubbo which has the Western Plains Zoo. Decided not to go as we have been before. It is massive and has many African animals and a great breeding programme. https://taronga.org.au/dubbo-zoo
