Dubbo to Not sure yet

It was so hot that we had a swim after packing up. We left Dubbo van park and stopped at a local bakery before heading off. Had to get a coffee and a pastry for the road. We decided to head to Mudgee via some of the back roads. The roads were slow going as there were some road works and the roads were all narrow and very bumpy unsettling the van a lot. We arrived in Mudgee late morning and gave our friend Peter Reeves a call to catch up for coffee. It was good to have a break and a good chin wag before heading off once more. The hills are substantially bigger now as we head towards the mountains and the climbs are putting a big load on the car. We are running with a full load of water as we plan to free camp.                       After a few hours of driving and ET checking the maps for a camp spot we decided on Lake Wallace. On arrival it was raining and luckily we managed to find an almost level spot for the van without unhitching the car. We had a lovely view of the lake and simply never left the van as the rain started bucketing down. We were close to a small town so we had some TV reception as well as mobile to stream some movies. Needless to say we watched a fair amount.
