Packed up our camp site in Coonalpyn and drove into the little town for Waffles. I am always amazed at how small towns become known for certain things amongst travellers. Someone will hear that you are taking a certain route and they will say, don’t miss the waffle shop in Coonalpyn. This happens all the time. ET also picks up a lot of these things from the face book pages of travellers who share things on FB pages such as, Everything caravan and camping Australia, or South Africans travelling around Australia etc etc.
Well I had a waffle with heaps on it. Felt really ill afterwards. Headed off to our next destination which was the Balhannah footy field where we set up for $15 per night. We set up here so that we could catch up with Tony and Amanda in Hahndorf tomorrow which is close by. Drove into Hahndorf and had a walk around town and then a beer at one of the German pubs. Then back to camp for a barbie.
